New Gallery!

Sacrifice

I've created a new gallery for the store images. All of the latest store images will be placed in that gallery. Some might also be included in other galleries as well.

There are THREE new images in the new gallery, and there are nine new images in the Sralos.com store! I've been a busy little bee lately. More to the point, I've got lots of time on my hands, and I might as well do something productive.

The latest two images in the store are Cabaret and Sacrifice. I'm quite pleased with how both turned out. Check them out in the Galleries.

New Products In the Store

I've been on a creative spurt lately, and there are several new images in the galleries and in my store. Please help out a starving artist by buying something, and they make great gifts too!

There's a sexy lady vampire ready to suck your blood and steal your soul.

Then there's an angry, red-eyed witch summoning up something nasty.

And then there are the four Seasons, a favorite subject of mine. This time I've done them in four separate images, each of them iconic in nature. My goal was to evoke the feeling of the season through color and pose, but not surroundings.

Diet Update

Lost 10 pounds! Go me.

The Gadget Ramble

I possess certain attributes that some might consider masculine. Chief among those is my love for gadgets. I do love my toys, however I will only get one that truly serves a purpose. I'm not the kind of person who will throw money away on something that's kinda cool, but I don't really need one, nor am I likely to use it enough to justify the expense. You also won't find me buying the first one off the assembly line. Let someone else do the beta testing, thank you very much.

Work related rant

This morning I have had 12 emails. 9 of them are from the accountant. She was here all day on Friday, but she waits until today to start asking me questions. Worse, she doesn't put all of her questions into one email. Nope. She sends a different email for each question. These are not yes or no questions. She asked me to give her the bank statements, which I did last week.

Diet Day 4

Today is going much better now that I can have real food to eat. For lunch I had the shake & bake talapia and it was fabulous. Tonight I plan on cooking the shrimp and a talapia filet with that orange salman recipe. I think that will be good.

Diet Day 2 & 3

Day 2 did not go so well. My head was pounding. I was weak and I ate some tuna. I mixed it with one tablespoon of low fat mayo and added a bunch of seasonings. I ate that and half a stack of saltines. Though I can't say that I'm not disappointed in myself, I'm trying to see the positive side too. On the plus side that was all I had to eat since Thursday evening besides the Proscript Fit. So, I've decided to not focus on the bad and just say that I added seafood to my diet a day and a half early. I'll stay on just the seafood until Wednesday as planned.

Diet Day 1

Went in to work this morning and asked H to weigh me. I weigh a whopping 268 pounds. On the plus side, I thought I weighed more than that. I had gotten down to 231 last ... it wasn't last year. (Damn, my memory is getting worse all the time.) ::Quickly checking creation dates of photos taken back around that time.:: August of 2006! I guess it's a good thing that it took me three years to gain back what it took me one year to lose. Gained it all back plus some.

Okay, so eating nothing but Proscript Fit for an entire day. It was okay.

Day Before the First Day of My Latest Diet

Starting tomorrow I'm going on the Prescript Fit Diet. You probably haven't heard of it, and that doesn't matter. It's basically a diet that our doctors put patients on pre and post bariatric surgery. It makes sure you get all the nutritional suplements you need, because your body is no longer able to absorb them the way it used to before the surgery. For me personally, I'm starting the diet so that I can get used to eating this way, so that the change after surgery (if and when I ever get it) won't be such a shock.

I've been weaning myself away from chocolate for the last week.

Gustav

It's deja vu all over again. Same days of the week. Same holiday weekend. Three years later and I'm looking at yet another hurricane barreling towards me. Fortunately, thus far it seems that Gustav is not going to be as disastrous as originally predicted.

For those who care and for those who don't really give a shit but are just curious ... I'm staying. I'm riding this one out.

Wish me luck!
